All In One Place

it isn't everyday they are all in one place (the grandkids and the grandparents). we didn't get one good shot of everyone cooperating but it seemed we had the most trouble with the grandparents - trying to get the kids to cooperate made the grandparents act up!!!

Grandpa's Birthday

Bob turned 55 so we went to help celebrate - everyone needed a hat, apparently! (Ellie is looking at them all very strangely...perhaps wondering if she really will grow up this strange?!)

mom and dad bought the boys back some aussie boots (not pictured) and they now think they are cowboys...also the hats somehow ended up being their's as well?! they are in love with the boots.

Ellie - 3 months

She is past three months now and growing little a chubby little weed. She is so ticklish that she can't help giggling when you put her in her clothes. She weighed in today at her 3 month checked - 15 lbs and 14 oz. So she has put on six pounds since birth!! She has legs just like her biggest sister did and we love it...

they are nearly back!!!

In just over 48 hours we get to head to Edmonton to pick up my parents. We can hardly wait. The three months has flown by for us in some ways and in some ways has taken forever. Sure miss chatting with mom on the phone nearly every day!! But it has flown because we now have a baby that is nearly three and a half months old. She was just nine days old when they left.

This is the luggage they left with - it will be interesting to see whether or not I need a trailer to pick them up!!

we got out some paint sunday afternoon while I was just wrapping up the supper...! what a circus. we have two that do some really creative painting and very neatly. we have another two that thought their mom said "paint anywhere but on the paper..."!

ellie - 3 months

we are really enjoying our newest baby - she is growing up too quickly, like they all do. she is very happy, smiley and content. at her 2 month needles she weighed 14 pounds 4 oz so she is growing like a weed. everyone of her big siblings is still enchanted with her! couldn't decide which photo I liked the most so you got three!

so the xmas holidays are done and my resolution (hopefully keepable) is to update my blog at least weekly. here we go!

what the kids were up to on their last holiday "day"!

some saskatchewan folks pay us a visit...!

so between the four of us, we have nine children. they are currently ages 8 - annie, 7 - jenna, 6 - jack, kara - 5, drew - 4, landon - 3, molly - 2, carter - 1, and ellie - 0 (or 3 months!!). crazy and chaotic but completely worth it...!

we had the taylors stop in for a couple of nites. hardly took a photo but here are a few that I got!
