sniff, sniff. I left Jack at Kindergarten today! I survived and I know he will too. Leaving the classroom I just don't like that feeling like there is a heavy boot on my chest! It is hard to let go. Easier though knowing that his big sister is just down the hallway...

Fencin' With Daddy

We went out to help Greg with fencing but didn't do much but take pictures and chat with him! The kids loved to be out checking out the horses and trying to feed them carrots.

Good Company

We had Auntie come for the whole long weekend and we put her to work. We got the Durango cleaned out, the garage and the shop. We were too busy to take photos apparently but when Sheena arrived for supper on Saturday nite we played the wii which was much entertainment and we also had Sheena fixing the kids up with all kinds of bandages and casts!! Enjoy.

Brandon Visitors

We had the Jacksons stop for lunch while on their Alberta tour. They stayed for most of the afternoon - much to the delight of our children! Was great that they included us in their stops!

Swingin' Like Monkeys

take note - molly has a huge bump on her head from falling off the slide, hitting her head on the way down and falling flat on her face. this was from a starting point of about 6 feet up, maybe a bit higher! it swelled her head, then her, eye (which turned black on the side), swelled up her nose - making her looked alienish! the next day, she fell down the stairs, then off our bed so it got much worse and I expected a call from social services!!! good grief. she needs to learn to keep her feet on the floor.

one of the last days at the park for the year, I am sure! we hit the park 'cause it was a whopping 14 degrees. pretty sad but it felt nice after the cooler weather...

W A T E R melon

It is delicious, but such a mess. We got the opportunity to try some yellow watermelon but it had seeds so a bit of a pain but in my opinion, much more delicious. (I got to "seed" it for all four kids...what a job!) Think we will stick to the pink seedless stuff from now on.

Annie's 1st day of school

so Annie is off to Grade 2. she was delighted, never even had time to hug me goodbye when I dropped her off! she got the teachers that she wanted, hugged them both and her best friend is even in her class! but we will miss her smiley face...and her constant reading and her help!!
